The cold is killing my back, hips and thighs, I’m in constant pain and it’s absolutely no fun, I’ve basically decided I’m going into hibernation 😂 x

I’m also permanently cold, nothing warms me up! Right now in my bedroom I have the central heating on, two king sized duvets, a radiator plugged in on full whack, my dog and a onesie on! Dreading when it snows and actually starts getting cold! It’s 3 degrees and I’m worried I’ll turn into an ice cube, roll on summer indeed!! 🌞🌞🌞

I’m hurting more too but I thought maybe because am a few days away from my cycle. But it could be both

Yeah could be both, Iv just notice now it's colder I'm in so much more pain, and no where near my period yet! X

I always hurt more when it’s cold. It’s due to a decrease in blood flow and it makes everything more sensitive! Also tensing as you mentioned makes it worse.

Definitely not alone in this! Xx

Yep, absolutely. When mine hits at scary, horrific level (as in curled up in a ball, throwing up, passing out) I burn up awfully so I can handle that better in winter. Plus I'll be clutching 2 hot water bottles for the pain so in summer that's awful but when it's bad but not horrific I definitely get more random pain in the cold. Things that help a bit - wearing stick on heat pads when outdoors, lots of warming drinks (ginger, anything spicy) all day, Dead Sea salt baths at night, hot water bottle if you sit down at work. It makes sense as you say - tensing due to cold plus circulation slows down xx
