Endo and bowels

Hey ladies.

Writing this in frustration on 3 hours sleep with work in an hours time!!

I have been up alllllll night is discomfort and pain. My tummy is soooo swollen and sore. As usual, I got into bed and the cramps started, progressed, then I was doubled over in pain, body shaking, lower back pain, had bowel movement and vomited (Sorry tmi) from the pain. When this happens I'm a write off for the next day. And my tummy is still so swollen.

I am having an mri scan on Monday to see what's happening at the moment. When I had my lap, endo was confirmed on my bowels.

The consultant has not listened to me at all when I have been complaining about this, its now starting to happen more frequently.

I'm just so frustrated and upset, and this will now make my day crappy at work. Just at my wits end with it all 😔

I have the same problem although never vomited from it but been on the verge of passing out in the past ! When it happens to me I get a shooting pain up my bottom too which makes me have to struggle to stand up until it passes as if I can’t relax my bum and I have to do deep breaths as if I’m in labour until it passes!

I was diagnosed on Monday via lap but all I was told is that I had endo and it was removed, I’m guessing I may find out more if I have a follow up appointment but nobody mentioned one 🤔 anyway I don’t know what causes this horrible pain but wanted you to know you’re not alone! Big hugs xx

That's exactly it! It can be so difficult trying to explain to somebody how the pain is and what happens to your body in the process.

You usually have a follow up appointment 6 weeks post op. If it's anything like my hospital I waited 6 months!
