So upset with myself. Lap cancelled today

Feeling really upset. Lap was suppose to be today. My appointment was for 1.30pm at hospital. Had toast at 7.30am and a cup of tea at 11am. I was under impression I could drink fluids up till 11am. Lap had to be cancelled due to the tea. I was so upset when they told me. I know it is not their fault.

I can’t even imagine how you’re feeling. Have you called to see if you’ll be next on the waiting list?? Or how long you’ll be waiting?

Very very frustrating situation. But don’t be too hard on yourself, it’ll all work out xx

Its a mistake that's all. Not to worry. Try not to tell yourself off too much! You made a naff mistake we all do them all the time, we just don't tell you that's all. If I'm having any kind of surgery, I usually fast from midnight or 12 hours before That's the old fashioned method but it works.
