I sometimes get pains in my bladder if I hold it for too long, or haven't been in a while! It's awful - I start sweating, breathing heavy and sometimes shake! It's really painful xx
I also hope you are okay, and if you need a chat feel free to get in contact. I haven't had a formal diagnosis yet, I'm waiting for my lap in Dec- Feb xx
Yes I get this, it sometimes spreads to my abdomen and can last from an hour to a couple of days. I associate it with having sex around my period (though not the same as cystitis) and believe it is endo linked.
I had burst ovarian cysts and the fluid irritated my bladder for weeks. At this time I was also diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction caused by endometriosis. So if you have endo or cysts this pain can be connected to that. Worth seeing a urogynecoligist or a urologist or gynecologist that understands the connections between these things.
Hello to you dear! I hope that you are getting better. I have never experienced such pain in my life. I am sorry but I cannot give you valid advise here. I just wanted to drop by and tell you to be strong. Things will get better soon dear. Lots of kisses and hugs for you xxxxoooo
Hi sorry you are experiencing this pain. I am currently 19 weeks post op from having a full hysterectomy but my ovaries remain. Since my op i have been experiencing bladder pain to the point i cant empty properly. My consultant said it's something to do with moving my insides around and scar tissue. I can hold my urine all day but as soon as i release i get a very sharp pain. I'm hoping this will heal and i don't need to have another operation to move away from the scar tissue.
