Hair loss zoladex

Hi. Just finished 6 months of zoladex and had hair loss. I am gutted. Its literally less than half the volume it was and now going patchy on my scalp. Absolutely gutted. Anyone else had this problem and could anything be done about it xx

I have this when I’m on Prostap but find that it grows back after the course is finished xxx

I really hope so. Im so scared x obv my hair isnt as thick as it was when i was in my 20s but literally my hair is half its volume and patchy over last 3 months! Xx thanks for reply x

Hi Leese16,

I am sorry to hear you are suffering.

I had a very similar situation when I was on zoladex. I mainly had loss around the front of my head where hair had either fallen out completely or was breaking off. I was very scared to but I visited my hairdresser and he was very comforting. He suggested I had a regular trim to keep the hair in a good state and it did work. When I finished zoladex the hair around the front of my head did grow back and it is a very different texture, it's like curly baby hair but I have learnt to manage it and love it again.

Thankyou so much for your reply. I am really struggling with this. My body image is massively affected by my mental health and i wish id known all of this before i took zoladex. Thanks again x

Hi. Thanks for asking! Hope u are doing better. I am just trying to get on with things. My hair is no better but no worse. My anxiety is still really bad and the pain is back worse than ever. How are you doing?

I lost so much hair.. its really bad, im now on anti depressants for the anxiety but not helping me much yet

Those injections will be my only regret in life.. i wish i was never put on them...
