Just wondering if anyone knows. I have pcos and endo. I don't ovulate naturally. Is there any chance that this could be linked to endo? I thought it was because of the pcos. Could it possibly mean we could try naturally if the endo is treated? Hope that makes sense. I had Clomid to make me ovulate I was in excruciating pain and we didn't fall.
Thankyou

Sorry I can't answer your questions, but would love to know the answer. Before my lap surgery this week, dr said to me she's 99% sure I'm not ovulating as my cycles are so long, but since the surgery she told us she sees no reason why we wouldn't fall pregnant.
We haven't been 'officially trying' for that long, but haven't fallen pregnant so wondering if endo is the cause for lack of ovulation? It's a mindfield isn't it!
How did you get to taking Clomid? Obviously I'm currently post op so no sex here, but wondering what the dr will see at my check up about getting pregnant. Whether we try naturally or do we go straight into clomid?!
Hi thanks for reaponding. Erm we have been ttc for over 3 years now. Blood tests have showed I don't ovulated naturally. I was referred to a fertility clinic jan 2016. They queried things but just said I could still try naturally and did not inestigate further. 9 months later I was put on Clomid which I won't lie it was horrific. I was calling them saying how much pain I was in and they told me it was normal. I had no scans. Beginning of this year referred for ivf at a different clinic. Was due to start treatment in August and within about 2 months I found out I have pcos (which is why I think I don't ovulate) and advanced endo. So no.ivf for us yet. Even if they remove it then not sure I could fall naturally if the reason is pcos. Sorry a really long post. I am.making a formal complaint against first clinic. It's been horrendous. So basically don't let anyone fob you off if you do start on the fertility journey but fingers crossed it will happen naturally for you. Good luck xx
My lap was last month and I actually ovulated (cd27 according to opks)! I've never had a positive before. My endo was also in my Fallopian tubes and they were slow to spill so I just have to cross my fingers and hope we get lucky one more time. I've had a baby before with my husband and had no idea how I'd struggle to have any more.
With endometriosis they should never put u on clomid there are alternatives such as femara amongst others. Please don't lose hope and don't put too much pressure on yourself - ivf or not - it'll happen.
