Ultrasound results

After enduring major surgery in December, trying the pill back to back, then 4 months of Zoladex, i had an ultrasound today that was positive for endo. Ive got to wait til 27th of next month to see my Gynea. Not sure what else she seen but she seemed to take a lot of images, but only mentioned a cyst as a hint to say yes you have endo. Not sure what to do. I seem to have tried everything!

Big hugs. There is a section on post lap cysts in this that may be reassuring, and help you plan questions.

Thank you. It seems interesting. Tbh im not sure myself whats going on! It started 4 weeks post surgery when i got out my car. I had a huge tearing pain on left side that nearly put me on my knees. Then it went. Then a few weeks after that it did it again. Literally half an hour after id seen my gynea at follow up. This time the pain didnt subside straight away. My left abdomen was sore to palpation. Then severe constipation started. To the point of being unable to stay awake, green and naseaus. I fought that for about 2 months of feeling sick and weak. Felt like a life-time. Then bladder. Omg. Cant stop going. Up 1, 2, 3+ times a night. Ive had chronic abdominal pain as in daily for months! Fatigue. The pill caused bleeding and the bleeding made it worse, hence my second course of Zoladex. Sex hurts more now than pre-surgery.

So today is like bang on the end of my Zoladex (diagnosed stage 4 DIE, and it doesnt respond to hormones as tried them all pre-surgery). I had a quick abdominal ultrasound, then moved on to transvaginal. She pushed the probe onto my left side and said "did that hurt?" And im like "yes" and shes like "i thought it might"?? Anyway now im crippled on left side. Passing wind/urinating, everythings agony. She couldnt find my left ovary so had me push on my abdomen and she just said "yes you have a cyst". I cannot tell you if it is endo or like the article states, a post surgical bleed, but im 8 months post surgery now and things are getting worse not better, with no resolution. Had 5 impactions of the bowel this year alone. Constipation still severe and abdominal pain sereve! I just wish i could find out as its been 8 long months!

Thanks for the hugs. Xx

Even more hugs X I had stage 4 RV Endo too. Like you no hormone treatment worked. ( However did you survive 4 months of zoladex? I take my hat off, I developed major cognitive and neurological issues and had to stop after 2)

I'm only 5 weeks post excision. I sympathize I had olan impaction a week after my bowel op. It was excruciating. I'm now addicted to lactulose for fear of another.

My bowel had been distorted out of its anatomical position by adhesions. Could something like that be causing your impactions?

Youre very similar to me. Originally my bowel was being strangled by my follapian tube, with ovary and endometrioma behind it. I was left with a partial obstruction for at least 12 months. I bounce between GP, Gynea and Colorectal. But its been put down to Endo. Hence the Zoladex. Ive no idea how ive survived Zoladex, none whatsoever but tbh im at a point now id take poison if someone said it would work. Its constant pain! Ive been on/off laxitives for 6 months. Last time they tried to keep me on laxitives for 6 months straight but god knows what happened but i dropped 5lbs in a week with severe diarrhea! I aint got no 5lb to lose. So now im in no mans land. They aint sure if its Endo, adhesions or permanent bowel damage caused by the Endo. Drs just look at my notes, give me sympathy eyes then say something stupid like "youre too young to have these issues"?. I cant have a hysterectomy cuz i have joint disease from vit d deficiency. So i have just applied for PIP. Not sure ill get it, but god loves a trier. I feel like im cursed. Xx

Are you being seen in a BSGE centre. ?

I had that initially but dropped the dosage dramatically and got a balance thank heavens .

God I know how that feels. I got viral meningitis 4 days after my op and lost 9 lbs in 6 days.
