Need some advice

Hi guys so I've had ongoing pain for years now I went to hospital 2 days ago and got diagnosed with poly cystic ovary syndrome I have a check up in 3 months but I've been looking it up but pain isn't a symptom. I have all the symptoms of endo, could I have both?

I've been given a contraceptive pill to try for 3 months if no better there doing a lap, I hope they find endo I'm so fed up!! Xx

Constant unbearable abdominal pain, back pain, periods every 2 weeks, pain when having sex, feeling exhausted xx

It sounds like more than pcos.i dont have regular periods+ive started having spotting+discharge instead.i get cramping,at the moment ive got bad groin pain,im exhausted all the time 2.been given the progesterone pill but cant take it yet cos i havent come on!xx

I'm convinced it's endo and pcos! I've had this ongoing for 7 years since I was 14 it's horrible. I got put on the lucette pill yesterday but I don't think it's gunna make a difference. I'm on my second period in 3 weeks 😏 xx

I hope you get sorted,getting answers seems to take forever.ive had problems since starting my period but since having children,after being regular 4 a while im all over the place now!i think once they see pcos they throw the pill at it but i feel as well that its not going 2 work 4 me.xx

Hi ive had pcos for 19 years, always suffered with heavy painful periods as well before I got myrena. I have most sympyoms apart from weight gain & my hair is terrible. I don't agree that pcos are not painful, ive suffered with ongoing pain for years. Had lap about 2 yrs ago and they found my right ovary was stuck to uterus so they removed it. Was told I may have been developing endo but myrena has prevented it. Had another lap 2 wks ago as I was diagnosed with a hemmoragic ovarian cyst and another quite large one on my right ovary. I was getting really bad pain in my left side, shoulder and lower back and sometimes my thighs ached. They did not find nothing this time and said my cysts must have burst and theres no reason for me getting pain. I burst out crying, I felt like I was getting called a liar. The only thing I can put my pain down to is pcos or the mirena but Ive always had pains in my sides, thats how I was first diagnosed with pcos. I know its not ment to be a symptom but I completely disagree & the pain is getting worse but no endo was found. Good luck, I hope they get to the bottom of your pain because it can be so frustrating 😟
