Hey ladies . Just wondering if anybody could help . I had a laparoscopy 6 weeks ago to remove endometriosis and cysts , one on the right ovary and one on the falopian tube. I am
Still getting little bouts of pain every couple of days but today was having a sharp pain on my right side . Is this normal ?
I don't want to keep going back and forth to the GP as they didn't suspect anything was wrong to begin with but after going to the specialist and having the op they found a few issues.

It's hard to say because only you know the amount and type of pain you are getting. Six weeks is still relatively early though and your body may still be healing. My advice would be to take things easy and monitor how you're feeling, try not to do too much too soon.Do you know what type of surgery you had? My first lap was with a general gynaecologist and he used ablation (burning endo off) which I think caused me more problems. I've since had excision surgery which is meant to be more effective.
Do you have a way of contacting your surgeon? If so I would get in touch with them and explain about your post op symptoms. They should be able to tell you whether what you're experiencing is normal or not. X
