Zoladex injections

Hi ladies just want to see if this is normal.

I just had my 5th zoladex injection and it was excruciating! Never had an injection so painful. I found the previous 4 uncomfortable but this one was a different level!

Has anyone had this? X

Hi

I have had just over two years of zoladex injections and currently still having them for adenomyosis pain and bleeding. Every injection I have found has become more painful but I get through it each time because it provides so much benefit to me and my pain. Hope this helps

2 years? Wow my gynae said I can have a max of 6... I don't know if that's because I'm only 18.

That's ok, I know what it's like waiting for someone to reply with an answer to your post! It's because I bleed for 21 days out of every month without it along with severe pain. All other treatments have failed so other than a hysterectomy this is my only option unfortunately. Having said that I am well looked after by my specialist and have yearly DEXA scans and my health has actually improved whilst being on it which is the main thing. I hope you are finding it helps with your pain though which is the main thing

I got put on them after having 9 months of constant every day bleeding. And finally today is my 5th day no bleeding!

I'm happy to hear that these injections are working for you, it gives me hope in the future as I'm still in pain

Hi.

My 5th injection was so painful I was left with a big bruise that has left a cs scar on my stomach. None of the other injections hurt as much as this one.
