Evening all, im Wondering if anyone can tell me if everyone with fertility problems is entitled to have their eggs frozen on the NHS (Scotland) or would I need to pay for it myself? As I know im not entitled to IVF as I have a child already (my gorgeous miracle boy, i thought id never have 💙) Thanks in advance x
Freezing Eggs: Evening all, im Wondering if... - Endometriosis UK
Freezing Eggs
I'm not sure - I think if you already have a child then you have to fund everything yourself but maybe it's different in different areas?
Also I was wondering, does a round of ivf mean one go at egg transfer...then using a frozen egg next time is your second free go? Or does a round mean one collection and you have a few goes on that round if you have frozen eggs?
Ok thanks, i was thinking the same thing that everything needs to be self funded if you already have a child 😔
I'm not sure how it all works to be honest, it's all new to me as I only had it "confirmed" to me last monday that ivf is now my only option so my head is full of so many questions and I don't know where to start?! x
Hey!! Can I ask... if you have no children are you viable with endo to have eggs frozen and ivf on NHS?
I'm planning on bringing it up at my next gyno appointment as I'm worried about what my next steps are. I don't have a partner as most guys run when they find out about my endo so that and assumed fertility issues... do
You think I have a good shot?
