Does anyone else suffer with terrible lower back pain when their endo kicks off?
I don't get it all the time but occasionally it'll flare up, doctors say they aren't sure it's related, so i'm curious as to what you guys think.

Horrendous lower back pain that shoots threw to stomach down to groin and can go down leg , my doc opinion was that endo/cyst was on a nerve and this is why I had this feeling xxxx hope you feel less pain soon
Yes I do,I even see a chiropractor but when it's due to an endo flare His treatments do not help, mine is to do with certain times in my cycle xx
hi. Yes I get lower pain and the consultant at the bsge centre said its connected with my endometriosis and cysts, it's always worse during ovulation and my period. I find doing some gentle yoga stretching and a hot water bottle can give me some relief.
hope it eases off soon. Xx
Ps sorry meant to say it goes into my hip and down my legs to. The hip pain feels like something is being screwed into it which is very painful. I'm on tramadol and amnityine which has eased it but its still there at peak points in my cycle. I started the Endo diet end of January and that has reduced the pain to.
hope your pain has eased. Xx
Yep, I get awful, lower back pain with my endo. I use a TENs machine or heat pads to help ease it x
If I take mefanamic acid when I feel it coming on it does help whilst using a hot water bottle too but if I don't get chance to take any and the pin gets worse then nothing helps at all.
But yeah, mine also travels into my hip and down my leg on left side where they found a chocolate cyst. I've finally got an appointment at a bsge centre end of April so I'll mention it and hopefully the consultant will have more insight. I think it's safe to say it is definitely related to the endo then!
could I ask what type of tens machine you use as I've looked but can't make head nor tail of it!! Xx
hi. I got a book it's called endometriosis a key to healing and fertility through nutrition, think it was about £15. I wasn't convinced and thought my hubby was mad buying the book ( it's in depth and not a quick read) but with just a few changes it helped within weeks so I stick to it most of the time and usually pay for it with pain if I don't!
the bsge centre should be able to give you more help I found it brilliant talking to someone that understands the condition and changed my pain relief which took a few weeks to settle but it does mean I can get out of bed most days!!
good luck with it. Xx
Thank you so much for taking time to reply really appreciate it been having a very low week and everything and anything pushing my anxious levels threw the roof xxxx
I hope your feeling better soon, it's rough when the anxiety kicks in. I find reading helps take my mind off things and camomile tea
Most definitely before my last lap my lower back pain could stop me in my tracks....
Following surgery it was amazing that was June 2015 fast forward to now I have had hideous lower back pain for over a week!!!! And I actually said to my bf that I thought it was the endo rearing its ugly head and low and behold tonight I have started to bleed for only the 3rd time since my op (I have the mirena fitted)
And although I have had side effects from mirena it beats being in pain hands down I m just hoping and preying this is a one off.
Hugs Sharon. X
I want to scream right now due to lower back pain. It also feels worse when I have to use the bathroom. 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I haven't been diagnosed with endo but seeing a gynae soon. I have a dull constant ache in my lower back throughout all my cycle but just before and during my period, the lower back is so bad I can't even walk or sleep as it's turns sharp and horrible
