Periods are still agony after laparoscopy to remove endometriosis.

Currently typing this while crying because I'm utterly fed up, I'm having my second period since my laparoscopy ( should be third but did not take a pill break last month ) and it's agony, even more so than before the op. I had endometriosis removed during the op and was told the endometriosis was mild so the op wasn't a big one I don't think. Being on the pill and having the endometriosis removed surely my periods shouldn't hurt anymore? But they hurt so much that the intense cramps stop me in my tracks at work and even interfere with my ability to drive safely. Is there anything I can do? I don't want another laparoscopy so soon. I am in the same situation. I had my laparoscopy in December. My second period was tolerable but after that the period pain became worse than before the surgery. I devastated. The surgeon told me to take Zanax ... but the pain is real and agonizing. You are not alone in your suffering. I wish we knew why the pain came back so soon.
