I'm 4 1/2 months post C section with my 4th and each month I've had what I've been calling a "phantom period" but I'm starting to think it's more.

My tummy is sore to the touch right above my pelvic bone, the cramping has me down, which is difficult considering all of the crap I have to do in a day..

So far this has happened once a month, around 8 to 10 days each time, since having my LO via 2nd C sect.

My 1st C sect was not hard to recover from at all but this time around is quite the opposite.

I have still not had an actual period either.

During a c-section tissue of your womb can go into your abdomen if a surgeon doesn't properly clean it up endometriosis can develop.

Adenomyosis causes heavy, long periods with clots so you would have one being it's been 4 1/2 months.

Have you been checked out for PCOS? It can cause absence of menstruation. All you need is an ultrasound for it and a few blood tests to check testosterone and androgens.

Are you breast feeding? Some women don't have periods when they breast feed.

Ask for an ultrasound and blood tests to check your hormones since you have still not had a period.

Ask about seeing a gyno for PCOS or endometriosis.
