First lap today....

Well, lap done first thing this morning - was brought in at 8, first on the list, home at lunchtime!

Consultant found mild adhesions, plus what he thought was "most likely" to be a small patch of endometriosis on the utero sacral ligament. Think it was lasered. He also mentioned something to do with narrow vagina, and bleeding from an ovary, but I can't remember the details and he didn't seem concerned by these?

The strange thing is that my discharge notes don't mention the endo, just the adhesions, but I'm 100% certain that's what he told me, I paid very close (woozy) attention to that part!

No follow up review needed apparently. I'd mentioned how recently my mid cycle pain seemed to be more sciatic in nature and he said that if that continues an MRI might be needed to check disc positions but that was it.

Starting to come round a bit now after sleeping most of the afternoon.

Apologies for the long post! X

Hope you have a restful recovery maybe ask your GP they may have a fuller explanation of findings maybe otherwise you will probably get a letter in the post with a summary of findings and care plan maybe sometimes that takes a little while. Or ring drs secretary and ask sometimes they're very helpful if your worried or confused.

Hope that helps a little hope you sleep really well :)
