Has anyone had or taking medroxyprogesterone?

Today I'm starting medroxyprogesterone, I don't know much about it, but I've been told that it should stop my periods & hopefully the pain I'm in 24/7 😭. I've been told if the tablets don't work, I will b having a full hysterectomy.

I'm very nervous, the guy I'm under at the hospital, said tablets will start my menopause if they do what they should do.

I'm 38 & have heard bad stories from ppl that have had the menopause & the medicine to help deal with it, has anyone got any good stories about it, cause im trying to find the positive side of endometriosis, but not finding at min.

I feel like I'm slowly falling to bits 😭☹️
