Hello there,

Can somebody help me please. I'm just hitting my head against a brick wall.

I started prostrap 3 months ago had my 3rd injection 3rd January.

But since having it I've been constantly bleeding ever since.

I've rung my gynecologist they won't do anything all I got is you'll have to wait until you see the endometriosis specialist.

I've rung them up I've been told there's a long waiting list. My referral got sent to them 2nd December.

The receptionist said there's lady's been waiting since October to see him.

I'm not getting any straight answers or any help with this bleeding or why I'm bleeding for so long.

Sorry that you feel like this. It's so frustrating when you can't get the help that you need!

In 2015, I want to change my consultant to a different endometriosis specialist because I didn't feel I was getting the treatment that I needed.

I had to fight my GP to refer me to the specialist I wanted because it wasn't the closest hospital to me. We are entitled to choose the hospital etc that we want, not just what the GPs say.

Could you try being referred to a different specialist? It might not be as close to your house but you could get in sooner?

Or if you're being referred to the specialist you want then could you try calling daily for any cancellations to see if you can get an appointment sooner?
