So due to my endo I always get bad back pains & after I hoover its the worst cuz I end up crying the pains are that bad. What do I do? I am on so much medication and nothing works. Ive tried hot water bottles ive tried deep heat spray ive tried balms but nothing works. Its been waking me up in the night. Any help would be appreciated. x

Big hugs for the pain. Xxxxxxxx

I suffer awfully from back pain and it's so demoralising.

Can you ask for a pain management review if the medication has stopped working? Opiods over time can ironically cause greater pain sensitivity so you may need to try something else. (hyperalgesia)

Have you tried tens or acupressure?

Hugs back! I feel your pain. I have tried tens & that doesnt work. I am going to call my doctor and ask for accupuncture cuz my pains are so severe now. Btw do you know if you can have accupuncture for your stomach for endo? x

I've not tried it but an experienced GP friend of mine learned on the NHS to do it on patients and said it worked for all sorts.

I seriously need it!😢

For starters, stop hoovering! This is not a tongue in cheek answer, I mean it! Either get someone else to do it, or a cleaner, or live with dirtier floors. Bless you, it sounds horrible. I'm sure others on here will have really good long term advice, but, seriously, stop hoovering!

Could you hire a cleaner just one hour once a fortnight to keep costs down?

I could do yh but it sounds weird I prefer to clean myself. Im abit particular in a way in terms of how I want things do you get what I mean? Do you get back ache when/if you hoover? x

If you get a good cleaner you can train them to do it your way. Just ask yourself how much you care about it being done your way versus how much it hurts!!!😉

I do hope you can get some better pain relief/treatment from your dr.

I suffer with back pains, they wake me up some nights. I haven't found anything that helps me apart from heat packs or hot baths. Sometimes a massage can help. Perhaps ask your GP for some pain management.

Treat urself to a good message once a month it really helps! I get acupunture through nhs but i pay for osteo once a month to just keep everything good

Yeh i was dubious!! I thought acupunture yeh sure that gona work but it did.. it was like the imflammation and pain just eased out of the needles.. so it well worth it. Also help to keep ur alignment good as i have a tilted pelvis and sacro iliac and if im all outa whack i get alot of pelvic pain and my periods will b worse.. body is a strange thing it is all joined it like dominoe effect one thing goes wrong ur get trouble everywhere ..
