Advice Please....

I am currently waiting for an appointment for a lap to diagnose Endo. I have had the most painful weekend ever and I am thinking about phoning the hospital to see if they can give me an idea on when I might get an appointment. Just wondered how long others have had to wait ?? I was referred in July by my GP and had first appointment with gynaecologist 4 weeks ago and not heard anything since. Thanks everyone xx

I waited 10 months for my op. I didn't see my consultant during these ten months, I was just on the waiting list. Not sure if other people have waited this long though xx

Poor you having to wait such a long time hope you're sorted now ? Best get stocked up on painkillers then xx

I am being seen at a BSGE centre - I am having my first surgery with them next week and I will have waited 16 weeks since seeing the consultant to have the surgery. It took about 8 weeks to get the surgery date.

I was told at the end of January (after numerous gynea appointments) that I would have a lap and it was done two weeks ago. Could be worth calling to see if they have a rough idea when it'll be & you could say if you're able to take a cancellation
