Tranexamic acid

The doc gave me tranexamic acid on Monday to stop the bleeding and it's still going , didn't no how long it takes to work?

It doesn't stop bleeding entirely, it just reduces how much you bleed. Might be worth going back to the GP.

Thank u I need to I've been in pain all day, even though I've been taking painkillers

Keep taking them and see how you get on. I found when I took them I could reduce my painkillers

I need painkillers, tranexamic acid is not a painkiller it should ease the bleeding but it's been 3days

I've been taking ibuprofen 400mg

They aren't painkillers. Could be worth taking some pain killers with the tranexamic acid to see if that helps

Ibuprofen are painkillers , there strong ones , I'm now taking co codamol 30/500
