it's an nsaid so similar to ibuprofen or mefenamic acid and should help with pain but if your Endo pain is severe, you may find its not enough on its own. Have you been properly diagnosed (had a laparoscopy) or had the GP suggested Endo?

Thank you for the reply gp suggested it.

Eat when taking it or take an anti acid if your using it everyday, doctors keep warning me about NSAID's used for long term

Thank you for telling me , what can I take as painkillers as I'm struggling and I have to work

what painkillers do you have?

If you do have endo ibuprofen alone might not be enough for your pain. You can buy co-codamol over the counter but you really need to go back to your GP and ask for better pain relief. There are lots of different ones they can use. They also need to be referring you to a gynaecologist (preferably a BSGE accredited one - if you google this, there's a list and you can ask your GP to refer you to a specific doctor) so that you can get a confirmed diagnosis and proper treatment.

Hope you are OK. FWIW I was given traxenamic acid at one point and found it utterly useless - it did nothing for the pain and I bled for a fortnight so didn't use it again. You aren't alone. x.

I've got gynaecologist in Jan the doc said about going back if pain gets worse, I've got co codamol over the counter and hot water bottle for my back 😔
