Diet before excision of endo

Currently starting bowel prep diet consisting of eating chicken/fish and potatoes for main meals lunch and tea. Surgery is on Friday where the surgeon will be removing endometriosis from bowel and several patches in my stomach via lap procedure.

How long is recovery? Consultant mentioned full 8 weeks recovery. Seems along time...don't really know what to expect.

Hiya , how did the op go? How long did it take you to recover? I am having the same surgery in a few months, really nervous about it...

Did the doctors advise you to do a pre op diet?
