Fainting 2 days after lap

Went to get up for a shower today with my mum and fainted sitting down , scariest experience of my life !! My doctor said its most likely an episode of low blood pressure which I agree with

Anyone have any advice ? Feeling exhausted

Hi belsy,

It can definitely be low blood pressure. Also what is your pain relief? I was given a lot of codeine - 30 mg with 500 of paracemol and told to take two pills four times a day. After taking it three times I fainted.

General anesthetic can affect everyone differently and they do say it is your body for at least 48 hours.

I would definitely take rest and do things at your body's pace.

I'm on Targin twice a day and having Advil in between. Yes I'm very prone to fainting but this time really scared me, I peed myself and was actually sitting down when I fainted. So horrible.

Also how long does the bloating take to go down ? I feel awful

Hi, when I had my first lap 2 years ago I fainted a couple of times, it turned out I had an infection. It could be that or if could be you are maybe doing too much. Try get more rest and see if it improves, if not then maybe give your doctor a visit
