What is Visanne?

I was reading about differ treatments for endo and Visanne came up as one. Has anyone tried it? What is it?

You can find the prescription on the internet. It's dienogest, hormonal treatment, but unfortunately you can not find it in UK. It is legal in Turkey, Greece and France. I am on Visanne since one year and the pain is gone since the first week treatment. The side effects are not good if you are taking the pills for a long period, but I take the risk if this means no pain at all. Because we both know what pains can cause endometriosis...

Trying to get Visa and for my wife as not available in Uk. Do you mean you can buy it in those countries or is it prescription only?

Hello,

In Romania it is prescription only. In Greece I am not sure. I was buying it from Greece with no prescription few years ago. It is very good treatment, but your wife should talk with a doctor before she is taking it. I know in England it doesn't exist but you can try go to a privat doctor in Romania or Greece and speak about Visanne. It is Dyenogest, hormonal treatment that induces menopause.
