Confused about treatment...

I was diagnosed with endo back in December. I didn't even think that I would be getting that diagnosis, I had always assumed all the pain I had was down to a cyst I had..lol..wish that it had been cause now that's been removed and then my pain would be ended.. but sadly no.

I had a copper coil put in during my lap and my endo was removed. I had a couple of months without pain but then the pain started up and has been getting progressively worse, the bleeding is shocking.

I was offered injections to put me in temporary menopause and Livial, I was unsure but I am now wondering if it is something I should go for.

My husband is dead against it, he thinks that I shouldn't be messing about with hormones and stuff.

My doctor has today put me on the mini pill, she was going to put me on the combined one but my bp is too high. She has also given me Naproxen for the pain.

I feel absolutely fed up..I am exhausted and just completely fed up with this whole circus of shit.

So if anyone has any input I would be very grateful, I just don't know what to do, I have a stressful few months coming up with my eldest (autistic) daughter going up to senior school, so I need to be as on top of my game as possible.

Thanks in advance xxxx

Hi, sorry you have got thus diagnoses, I'm assuming you was seen by a general gyne, if you was, I would get a refferal to a bsge specialist centre, the surgeons that work in centre s have much more experience and training on removing endo. Unfortunately general gyne often miss endometreosis in certain situations and areas, as they tent to look at the reproductive system only, so it's possible that you still have endo left,

It's generally the marina coil that's used for endo, was there a reason. For the copper one, ??

Good luck xxx

On the day of my op I saw a different consultant for maybe 5 mins before my surgery, he did mention the Mirena coil, and after a quick run down of my issues he said he was confident that he would find endo, but in that split second I wasn't sure if having the Mirena would do anything to my blood pressure, so stuck with the copper coil..and the strings are absent so my doc can't remove it

I'm already gluten free cause I've got coeliac disease..I have two meal replacement shakes and a 'normal' evening meal..if I eat too much actual food I feel bloated and yukky, I take 8 Buscopan a day, I've been thinking about doing fodmaps but I'm so exhausted I just don't know what to do!
