It's offical....

Morning all. 

I had my lap yesterday and it has been confirmed that I have got endometriosis  - happy I have an answer, sad that it's Endo 😀😩

The consultant said it was only mild Endo and he has removed all he could find, the worst of which was on the back of my womb. But he said nothing was stuck together and my tubes etc all looked fine.

He also did a cyctoscopy and said I have a sensitive bladder which could be some of the pain I'm feeling (he didn't go into too much details) 

Follow up appointment should be in the next 4 weeks where I should get more details. 

Has anyone else had a cyctoscopy and been told of a sensitive bladder?

Hi, hope you're ok after your diagnosis and are resting after your lap. Yes, I had the same comment after my cystoscopy. They don't tend to say very much until you go back because you're recovering from the anesthetic. They chose to focus more on the removal then ongoing treatment of endo than any bladder issues in my follow up though. Hope you're appointment goes well, keep us updated. X

I'm in so much more pain with this lap compared to the first two I've had.. I guess where he has actually done some work in there? 

It will be nice when this bleeding stops, not much but from the cystoscopy, and may have a propa wee again!! 😊 

Hopefully will get the follow up letter soon so I have a date to go back and get more info from him!!
