Still waiting for op

Hi all I haven't posted for a while but here I am still waiting for hysterectomy been waiting since October last year and still along way off yet our local hospital is on black alert ☹️ Getting really frustrated now but nothing I can do. Only plus side is I have only had one period in 9 months but it's made me so tired and moody

I'm confused by this because I would have thought a hysterectomy and removal of ovaries, together with thorough excision, would stand a good chance of preventing reoccurrence of endometriosis. X

Hi, endo can still accyre after a hysterectomy, and the gold standard is thorough excision surgery, if the womb or overies are not diseased then it is not ideal to have them removed, unless there is complications, x

I have endo adenomyosis also had a cyst on ovary and enlarged Fallopian tube it was diagnosed last Feb x
