Has anyone tried reflexology? Did it help with endo pain? Or has anyone tried any other holistic therapies

Reiki Therapy is very comforting and healing. I knew someone who worked

with Cancer patients using Reiki for pain relief.

Acupuncture! It helps me immensely, both with pain and anxiety. I have always been a sceptic about alternative therapies, but Since I got diagnosed and started reading about Endo, I heard acupuncture was good and then two different people who I trust, told me they were doing it and how it helped them so I decided to try it. I still don't "understand" it, but I go to it with an open mind and it seems to be working for me. Both my GP and my Hospital Endo Consultant have told me they have nothing against it, and if it's helping me then I should continue. I definitely recommend it but, like with anything else, you must find the right therapist for you, I get along really well with mine, but I can imagine if it was someone else with a different approach to the treatment I might be put off to carry on with it. Give it a go, it might work for you as well! However, I am quite curious to hear about Reflexology and Reiki as well!

I was diagnosed with endo 4 years ago and it's been getting worse . I have been researching recently and reflexology and acupuncture keep coming up as suggested helpful remedies so I'm considering giving one of them a go

I have been going to reiki for 3 years which does help for a couple of days but it doesn't last. I have been attuned to reiki level 2 so I can self heal but it's not as strong wen you do it on yourself. At my endo support group the nurses talked about trying reflexology or acupuncture. I'm thinking of giving reflexology a go

Hi reflexology may help if you have clinical reflexology as they will do a treatment plan for you a vctc qualifted ie local college may be just relaxing, a glorified massage which may help. I was told this by someone who was both vctc and then became a clinical reflexoligists. You need the right therapist for you. I had reflexology by someone whose pressure was too hats and it made my endo worse, she told me that it was getting worse anyway and it wasn't due to her pressure, someone else she treated with fibroid also got worse. I know it was her pressure as I am a trained clinical refexologist. Chiro and osteo have both been said to help. Tgere is also bowen. The therapist is the key get the one that you connect, click with otherwise you can subconsciously block the healing. I know from experience.

Thanks. The therapist I have found is level 5 in reflexology she also does reiki. I met her at the support group and felt a nice feeling about her so think I will give it a go.
