Sharp stabbing pain

I have had a mild pain in my pelvis the entire day. It comes and goes but when it comes, it's always felt. When walking to my desk at work today I crippled over in pain as I had such a sharp stabbing sensation in my left pelvis. It lasted a few seconds then went. Please can anybody provide information of what this could be?!

If you have been constipated lately it could just be down to that, but if you have been going the toilet and the pain persists I would go to your GP For some bloods to be done and some sort of investigation to rule out anything else, please keep me updated on what happens and I hope you feel well soon.

Thank you but no, I am rarely constipated as I have IBS D! I have an internal examination soon but wishing it was sooner, it's a month or so, hopefully the symptoms die down!

Hi, you are not alone with this. I have been suffering this symptom for over two years now. I have been back and forth from dr, hospital with no answers. I have had enough with it now as this is affecting my life. I have made another dr appointment to try and persuade him to transfer me to have a camera inside. If the pain Carries on I would make a appointment to the dr and keep at it until you get answers.

Thank you I hope yours gets better also! I had a very good GP, saw her once and showed her my symptoms diary then she referred me instantly for an internal exam in hope of a laparoscopy

I also get sharp pains from time to time in my left side, I'm aware that I have 2 cysts in my left ovary so Im guessing they are the culprit. You might have something completely different but at least you have an internal exam coming up. Hope you get your answer xXx
