Hi there,

I have stage 3 endo and adenemyosis and occasionally suffer from this extreme burning pain in my hips and legs. Does anyone else experience this? Any tips or tricks for managing or overcoming this?

All the time 😢 I've yet to be formally diagnosed yet.! Some days are worse than others, it's a horrible feeling xx

It feels as though I ran a marathon and now can barely move.

Sounds like sciatica. I have it too. 800 mgs naproxen sometimes helps with a heating pad. Unfortunately I haven't found anything to make it totally go away.

Hi yes, I suffer from hip and leg pains as well especially in the thigh area. I have not found any tricks or ways to overcome it I just deal with it but it hurts so bad like arthritis or something.

Do you get it all the time? I get it more in my right leg with siatica too and pain in my hips and bum cheeks x

Yes very often very very often but I mostly get it in my left leg it's so hard to deal with it.

Ah and there's me thinking it was just me! ; ) let pains at the front of my legs, usually left but sometimes right. Along with Tramadol it's usually heat pads that make it bearable. Sciatic pain in my left leg at the back but that's usually sorted with anti-inflammatories, just as it begins! I don't think it's Endo but maybe from sitting too much, due to the pelvic pain. My whole insides feel like they're on fire, this is a new pain for me, a burning all the way across...no idea what that's about but my best buddies are my heat pads! Wish you well x

Thanks so much for all your replies! The heat pads helped a lot. The pain had me out of action all day! With regards to Lindle's post, my lap was also diagnostic so it wasn't done in an accredited centre but I have been referred now. My specialist is excellent, however. I wanted an endo clinic but my GP treated me much like I was overreacting to period pain and said some pretty demoralising and nasty things along the way. I pushed on and mostly ignored his protestation, requested the specialist I wanted and am really happy with him and don't want to leave his care. I also changed GPs.
