I think you need to tell whoever prescribed it to you and I think the best choice of pain relief would be a non steroids anti inflammatory (NSAID) such as ibuprofen. X

It was 10 years ago that I had Zoladax so I can't remember whether I had that or not, I think the brain makes you forget the worse parts!!! ;)

But I seem to remember the doctor who gave it to me each month gave me a phone number that I could ring if I had any problems?? It went through to the reception of that part of the hospital where I had the injections.

Could you phone the place that prescribes it to you and ask if there is anything you can do? That's what they are there for, especially in the early part of taking a new drug.

Take care.

Hi, I am not sure about the foot pain , I didn't have that. You may get a last period as it takes a bit longer than days to kick in and switch off your hormones.

I had zoladex for 11 months and I am a big fan of it! At first , I was like I felt bloated and had a few aches and pains (the bloating was from the HRt add back therapy) but after it calmed down (6-8 weeks) I stuck with it and eventually I :

Lost weight (I had always struggled due to my PCOS) and I lost belly and hip fat by changing nothing !

I didn't have the monthly migraines I would get before my period

My moods balanced tremendously

I had no endo pain and severe bloating

Ok, so I had a lot of benefits but I am not going to lie to start with I felt tired and slow and then my body had to adjust to the hormone but I had a great doctor and the longer I was on the zoladex the longer I upped my dosage of HRT.

I tried taking pill form of HRT but actually got on better with patches starting at 25g up to 75g ,

Was brilliant !

Make sure you drink plenty of water and green/mint tea first few weeks and keep at it u will see the benefits.

I had a laparoscopy 8 months after (not endo related) and I had the all clear , before I had endo inside and around all my internal organs : bladder, uterus , tubes womb walls . So it does work.
