Skin irritation

So I have endo and I wondered if anyone else has ever suffered with skin irritation down below? I found it always gets worst when I'm due on.

I had a skin biopsy and it shows I have eczema which can be extremely painful.

Does anyone else experience this? And have you found anything that helps?

Hi. I don't naturally get irritated. But I have been using sanitary pads due to heaviness of period and found that I get awfully irritated. The skin gets dry and crackly.. I moisturize with that non perfumed moisturizer you get when you have eczema.. I do this after every shower. It seems to help a lot. might be different tan what you're experiencing but hopefully helps in some way.?

What moisturiser is this? I'm willing to try anything as its getting to the point where my skin bleeds :( I've found it flares up when I use pads as well but I'm guessing that's the extra friction xx

Non-ionic cream.. Cetomacrogol cream bp 88 formula.. Thats what's on the giant round container. My niece had really bad eczema. Container was left behind so I use as a moisturiser as well. But I find it works on all dry skin. Oils might work as well? Olive or coconut? Anything without perfume maybe? Honey has good healing properties.. Anti bacterial as well .. Maybe apply and leave on for half hour before shower if possible.

Hi I suffered terribly actually thought I had a STD or thrush or something. It got to the point where sex was unbearable even having a pee would sting. Felt like I had loads of little cuts down there. I started using double base cream and then double base shower gel. It really helped me x

I get this, was referred to something like a dermatologist who specialises in 'women's issues'! She thought it was a pain condition not skin condition but I'm not so sure. Anyway, I've been using dermol 500 lotion in the shower, canestan hydrocortisone cream when I'm uncomfortable and lidocaine 5% ointment when it's really bad. I hardly need the lidocaine now so it seems to keep it ok although not cured. I hope this helps, it is such a horrid condition but your dr can help.
