Frozen Pelvis

Hi all,

I have just seen the consultant and she believes that I have a frozen pelvis as a result of years of surgery due to endo and other gyni complications. As I have been incredibly blessed to have my own child, she believes the best option for me is to have a hysterectomy. If it improves my life then I am happy to go ahead but at only 33 it feels like a very drastic decision. I just wondered if this treatment option is quite normal for my diagnosis?

Not sure I have heard of them fixing a frozen pelvis. But it’s a long 6 hour operation. Can only be done by certain specialists

Thanks for your reply. I ended up having the hysterectomy with a specialist team and it has made a huge difference for the positive :)
