I have seen 5 doctors in last 2 years about my symptoms been tempted to book another to bring up endo with them as its not been mentioned.
I have an appointment to see the nurse in a weeks time to get more contraceptive pill, I'm thinking of bringing endo up with them to see what they suggest what do you all think ?
Nurses can't refer unless they are specialists and even then they need approval from doctors. You will need to book an appointment again at your GP and this time explain all your symptoms as well as asking them their opinion on whether or not it could be endo, put them on the spot. A lot of gps don't know a lot about it so perhaps if you show you know a lot about it they'll be more open to referring you to gynaecology.
Thank you ! I will book an appointment. I will keep this one I've booked appts before and cancelled as the symptons have gone. Then before I know it they are back. My periods aren't the problem at all my main symptons are twinges/sharp pains in groin And lower back ache. Pains run down tops of legs, pain in ovary area too. Periods are heavier than before but not to painful I don't know if this is because my micro 30 contraceptive pill helps
