This may be long shot but i was wondering if anyone on here goes to the university of the west of England. It would be so nice to have someone to talk to who's around my age and is close by :) xx

Not sure whereabouts you are but I'm in the NW, in Liverpool. I'm 22 studying Geology. Had endo since I was 12\13 ish, first lap at 19 then another 6 months after including GNRH treatment. Permanently on Provera now. I still haven't met anyone in person with endo so I know what you mean with the someone your age to talk to thing.

Im in bristol so quite far :) ahh i did geology at A level and loved it. That is exactly the same as me, told i had it at 13 and had a laparoscopy at 19. What is GNRH? and what is provera? Does it help? Ive tried reaching out to people at my uni asking if anyone has endo but no reply so far :( It sounds silly but makes you question if there really is anyone else out there our age going through the same thing, it just gets really lonely. Well thank you for replying :) if you private message me we could add each other on fb and talk :)

Ok its nice to know that there is someone nearby who i can talk to. Do you go to the support group at St Micheals? I went for the first last week and it was so nice to be able to talk to people who were the same as me. I come from a seaside town so not many people i know have endo. If you need a chat we can add each other on fb and talk :) would be nice to hear back from you x

I'm glad to hear you found the group :) I was too unwell to go last week! Feel free to add me on Facebook - Amy Chrzanowski. Should be pretty easy to find me but just in case my profile is of me in a rainbow jacket x

Would love to meet up with you and Amy, and any other bristol endo ladies sometime :) I am not sure when the bristol group christmas social is, I think she mentioned sometime in Nov, but I also think it would be lovely to meet up socially otherwise too :) I will be the oldie around tho so as long as you don't mind that ;) xx

Hey lynne :) Amy this is lynne she is in the support group aswell and we've been talking so here is another person for you to contact if you need someone to talk to :) Hopefully is it Jan? will send an email soon telling us when it is and what it is, its annoying for me i need to plan well in advance as can only take buses. It would be nice to meet up just socially but me and my dad were talking about this last night and its gonna be so hard to find a day where everyone is feeling relatively ok haha :) xx
