got my scan results back.......

Hi everyone i did say i would keep you all updated once i had got my results back soooo...

basically last thursday i went to my gp to get my results back from my transvaginal scan...as i suspected there was something that showed up which i kinda knew already myself from the pain that i have been getting...

so my doctor told me that on my right ovarie i have some small cysts that he wasent that concerned about its normal for women to get these every know again, so then on my left ovarie he said that they could not see at all in the scan because it is completly covered in cysts so on the bottom it is lined with small cysts then sitting ontop of them are really large ones...

so he has put it as polycystic ovaries and has sent me for a hormone test.....i have asked to be referred to see a gyne because i am abit worried about leaving them there as they can do damage to the ovaries.. i do have some symptoms for PCO but i defo have more pointing to endo.

has anyone else been told anything similar to this need some advice on what to do next should i keep on at them to be remouved? ........

Even if your doctor does suspect PCO syndrome he should be referring you to a gynae. Some cysts on the ovary is normal but not that many on both. Ask for a referral and have a list of all your symptoms ready and any questions you want to ask!

yes that is what i thought aswell i have since posting this spoken to my doctor so at some point this week he will call me to come in and go through everything.

Already got that list waiting lol im so ready to get my questions answered.
