Rectovaginal endo

Hi ladies, I am due to have excision surgery and wanted to know how rectovaginal endo is diagnosed. Will it be seen in the lap or will I need to have an internal examination?

I had the same, it's only diagnosed by laparoscopy. Just had all my adhesions removed and all went well. Good luck!

Yes by lap with bowel surgeon present. I also had an mri scan to check it wasn't infiltrating endo.

I've he same and was diagnosed by laparoscopy, but was also visible by GY MRI! But in my casa the doctor told me to try for pregnancy first and then have the surgery, which is impossible because the pain we feel when period comes!
