Dry skin

Hey guys,

10 days post op! My skin is really dry especially on my face! Makeup doesn't seem to stick to it at all and it just looks awful. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have the same problem. I try and cover with make up but it just cracks and looks horrible. It's on my chin and under both eyes. The patches are not small so finding it really hard to cover up.

Hi M123,

Try going to your GP, they might be able to prescribe you something for it. I was given dovobet, although it's a steroid cream I just apply a very small amount once a day for no more than a day or two when it flares up and it works wonders!

For 2 months after my hyster I flaked like a little old lady. Even though it was warm humid weather. I am doing better now that my hormones have started to readjust to only one ovary.
