hi has anyone come across this before? I have raised lumps on my neck. I’ve been told my the dermatologist that it’s a form of endometriosis. She is taking biopsies next week.

Endometriosis of the skin
Hi,I've got severe endometresiosis and skin issues ( eczema and vitiligo) but never heard of cutaneous endometresiosis.
Was curious so just read this journal ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
Says rare, less then 1% of all endometresiosis cases. It says divided into 2 types; primary or secondary. Secondary disease is more common of the 2, it occurs in patients with a history of abdominal surgery near surgical sites. Primary disease is where lesions develop spontaneously with no surgical history. Both implies cyclical pattern , so flaring up during menstruation. I'd assume since on your neck they suspect primary. But like you said punch biopsies to confirm as can look the same as some other conditions.
Thanks for sharing for awareness. Another presentation I hadn't even considered before. Hope it's not painful and it subsides. Hopefully you get some answers from your biopsy.

not heard of it but have ones like ….
Hi
Thank you for your post, never heard of it, but would explain things in the past, possibly now, but skin is better since the hysterectomy, still some.
Please let us know how you get on with the results. I hope it’s something much simpler for you.
Wow I never knew this. I always got them before my lap. It's calmed down now but I got them on my neck and rarely on my shoulders. I thought it might have had something to do with endometriosis but wasn't sure how.
I have them all over my tummy and back of neck. Had lap earlier this month!
