Does anyone know if there could be a link between endometriosis legions on bowel and sciatica? I had a lap 2 years ago where they found my bowel and uterus were stuck together which they 'fixed' by removing the legions but there was signs of more internal bleeding. Gynae said if pain continues I should see a Gastro doctor?
8 weeks ago I was hit by a severe case of sciatica in both arms and legs which is unbearable when I come on. The pain is in my lower back, buttocks and I'm getting excruciating shooting pains in my thighs and groin. I'm waiting to see a physio (again!) about the sciatic pain but just wondered if there could be a link and the lesions have returned causing the pain?..
So desperate for help and relief from this pain 😓
Thank you xx

I do have sciatic pain all the time and specially when I have my period.
last Sunday I was at the ER for the severe pain and asked the doctor and they confirmed to me it´s in fact related. they explained that for some reason any adhesion could be touching the sciatic nerve. I do have it all the time and it´s horrible..
I have had endometriosis confirmed laparoscopy 15 years ago, I am using northisterone again. when I try to use no medication and allow a cycle..I get chronic shoulder and neck pain, day 2 then endometriosis grows and stomach starts with pain, day 3 then the sciatica usually one leg and lower back starts with continuous stomach pain, by day 4, I struggle to urinate as painful and bowel struggles for movement despite high fresh fibre intake, continues for 14 days various pain including shoulder neck agony to complete cycle, absolutely awful, worst sick record in history. A definite link with nerves, the latest is facial nerves and extra stomach acid, I genuinely believe if left to own devices I would be dead.
Hi, I'm sure it can be connected to endo, ive suffered with lower back pain for years and it's only been the last year that ive realised that it may be something other than by back that was causing the problems, well a couple of years ago I had a confirmed slipped disc, so I do have a weak back, but it started coming round to hips and pelvic area, and that why I went to the Gp and was eventually a year later diagnosed with endo and adeno, I'm now 4 weeks post hysterectomy and excision of endo,
So long and short it so could be to do with nerves getting caught up with adhesions inflation ect, but it could also be a back problem, so in my experience I would say to try and get both sorted,
