Does anyone have any advice on possible sciatic endo and what treatment do doctors suggest for it. I suffer really bad backside , hip and leg pain 2 weeks before and during my period. Does anyone know how doctors tend to treat this?

Sciatic endometriosis
when I questioned endo on my sciatic nerve I just got told it was rare and was a bit dismissed but I also suffer with lower back, pain down legs and hip etc. not just before period tho it can be constant. I’m currently waiting for X-rays results to rule out actual back issues. I do find stretching helps. If I lay on my back and put one leg over the other my hubby will push it and it tends to ease it abit. I don’t find painkillers help as it feels very much like nerve pain. Like having toothache in my leg.
I bought a heated electric blanket from Lakeland for this. I find the hear really helps.
Hi. I too have been suffering with this. It's been so bad that I get pins and needles and numbness in my legs and all in my pelvis. The pain is constant but flares up for a good 10-14 days. I also get such bad nausea with it I can barely eat and my whole body feels so jittery. Sorry I can't help with treatment but iv finally had an appointment through for gynaecology so really hoping they can give me an answer for it. But I use a large wheat bag every night and do some hip and leg stretches. I also have acupuncture.
Sorry did not know how to put the two pics together. Been suffering the same for the last 2 yrs. The only thing helping has been pilates and magnesium glyconate before bed to help get a good night sleep. And a leg pillow too. Hope it helps
I was managed medically for 8 years really well (ie hormonal treatment). Thought it had gone and loved life. Coming off it to TTC 3 yrs ago and all come back with venegeance. I’m having a lap + excision soon. My pain is worse down left leg with painful pins and needles. The specialist thinks that endo on my left uterosacral ligament is pressing on nerves and causing this pain. I was tender on vaginal exam over the left uterosacral ligament.
Medical management does work for me though. Only having the lap as want to continue to try for a baby.
