Hi everyone.
I will be going I for my second lap with endo specialist. My first last lap I was told I had severe endo, but was never given any clear picture as to where it was removed from apart from POD and endometrioma removal (not endo specialist). I had a horrendous recovery, which surprised me as the common ideas is laparoscopic surgery = expedited recovery...anyhow. This time I've had some imaging done. I have a 4cm endometrioma, which is adhered to the pelvic sidewall and uterosacral ligaments, and I have some deeply infiltrating (1cm lesions) on both uterosacral ligaments.. Also looks like one Fallopian tube will need removal as it's grossly swollen and adhered to my ovary and (someplace else I forget). Does not look like I have anything on my bowels....which is good news. my question is has anyone else had similar experience with endo in these locations and what was your recovery like post op? I'm tying to plan and don't want to get to hung up on my previous experience.
Thanks everyone in advance
