Had my diagnostic lap on Monday and came round after 3 hours in theatre - consultant came to see me and explain surgery
I had extensive adhesyolosis - adhesions had stuck my ovaries to my bowel and we're all over ovaries, tubes, bowel and liver but I've not got endo! ( or have I and its been missed)
In a lot of pain so resting and taking it easy will be nicer when shoulder eases from trapped gas
Hope u are all well today x

Oh my lovely thinking of you my ovaries are also stuck to the bowel ....tubes...ovaries...not liver...the blessing is that no mention of endo....hope you are better and back on your feet soon....I had to stay in one night after lap I was very fortunate no pain after whatsoever I didn't get any pain in shoulder....just the most horrendous windy pops it sounded like a whole load of cannons going off 😵 sending you my love xx Sarah😘
Hi hunni sorry you're having a rough time of it and I wish you a speedy recovery. My ovaries are stuck to my bowel too but they have also said that my right ovary is the worst. My cervix is also stuck to my bladder and I also have a lesion on it so I know mine is Endo. Just wondered did you have any symptoms regarding your liver as my adhesions were found on MRI of my pelvis but because my pain is also in my upper right they think it could also be effecting my liver too. Hope you feel better soon xx
Ps I agree with Lindle, I had a sub total hysterectomy last march by open surgery and they missed my endometriosis and told me my adhesions were minimal, this was done by a general gynaecologist but I am now under a specialist team at Stepping Hill who are now planning more surgery. Good luck with everything xx
