When your pain flares up do you have pain elsewhere? My lower back and pelvis is killing me today but I seem to get aches and pains everywhere at the same time?! At the moment my forearms are really hurting and almost feeling bruised along the bone/tendons so I don't know of its related or a coincidence. Maybe I'm just tensing up or something when I have pain? Xx

I'm still waiting a laparoscopy for confirmation of endo but I too get this. For me its especially noticeable in my upper arms - feels like I've been doing weight training! Not sure if it's a symptom or not (as say not formally diagnosed yet) but it is real and causes issues as often my arms feel so weak. And yes it is very like they are bruised. Don't know what - if anything - it means or why it happens........x

Well I wish you weren't going through it too but its good to know I'm not going mad. I don't think it helps I'm constantly lifting an increasingly heavy baby each day but I think there's definitely a link with the pelvic pain because it only seems to flare up when the pelvic pain does. Xx

Wow ladies... IM starting to think I'm going mad it's so reassuring to read your posts. I'm currently undiagnosed awaiting a pelvic ultrasound next week following a clear pelvic X-ray a couple of weeks ago. My Pain is centrered around the bottom of my pelvis around my perineal area where it becomes very tender and feels bruised. I have a constant dull ache in the bottom of my pelvis to the rear around my tail bone, it's there 90% of the time although it does feel a little better sometimes on a morning. At the moment I have a 'numb bum' feeling. I sometimes get pains in my legs and arms but it is this constant dull ache which is so awful. Sometimes I could just cry! Also at the moment I've had a chest infection for a couple of weeks but I'm starting to think that may be related. My GP thinks I have endometriosis. They're going to refer me following my ultrasound. Ive only logged on here a couple of days ago it's nice to speak to ladies experiencing similar. Thank you x
