Surgery dates

Just wondering if any of you ladies have had your surgery date pushed back? Mine was originally meant to be April and now estimated at July. Has anyone attempted to be seen at a different hospital due to long wait? Thanks xx

I was meant to go in today but they have put it back until June x

I was supposed to have mine in February- I had my pre op and everything, but my surgeon was taken ill and had surgery himself. I think there's no one to pick up his surgical list. So I'm still waiting with no date.

I've been offered no alternatives, apart from to wait. Feeling let down by the usually brilliant NHS.

I was supposed to have surgery at the end of March but I found out the day before that it had been cancelled and no one had informed annoyingly. I've got a new date for end June so fingers and toes crossed it goes ahead. The waiting is very frustrating.

I had my pre op 2nd January was expecting the op Jan/Feb then was told May now I'm told possibly July! I am not hopeful at present due to'black bed' status at my local hospital. Good luck with your date though.
