Strange period

Please help! Im not due my period for another 3 weeks but I noticed very dark brown spottingthe other day, ivehad brown blood before but never like this, it didnt even look like blood it was that dark, over the past two days its changed to bright red blood with a lot of clots. Last time I had sex with my partner was around two weeks ago. My periods are usually on time every month so its a bit strange for it to come so early. Any help? Thanks

Have you done a pregnancy test? A breakaway bleed can happen upon conception roughly two weeks or so after unprotected sex???? xx
