Hi all, I'm jo

I was diagnosed with endometriosis 10 yrs ago in 2005 (March 10th to be exact) when I went under the knife to remove a ovarian cyst!. To cut along story short 2 laparoscopy's later and I'm still suffering bady. I've been in tears again tonight with the constant pain.

I've been put back on the pill again (I thought this was amusing as I'm 38!)

But it's not helping at all still in pain & still very heavy.

Where do I go from here? I've asked to have it all taken away numerous times but they won't in case I want children (I don't)

To top it all off I now have to see a vulva dermatologist as apparently it's abnormally white! A sign of a thyroid problem.

Oh and inbetween all that I've had stage 2 cancer cells lasered off my cervix!

My poor long suffering boyfriend of 12 yrs has been to every appointment and op with me, tho he tries he never really understands. It's no like a broken bone, it's invisible.

Has anyone got any suggestions for pain relief and fatigue fighting remedies! I feel I'm getting old before my time.

Lovely to finally get all that off my chest

Hi Jo,

Have you tried provera? Or Mirrna coil? Or taking the pill continuously without ever having a period? It's safe to do this. If I didn't want children that's what I'd do. Hope you get better soon x

aw, thankyou,

I've not been offered the coil so I may mention that next time I go to docs.

I need to get my pill changed as its turning me into a weird syco woman from hell lol!

I am so sorry to hear about the pain you are in. I am curing my endometriosis with endovan. You can reserach this online at this website endovan.com/

I believe our body can heal on its own with the correct diet and herbs/supplements.

I randomely get massages, it helps with the pain.I also take black strap mollasses.

I hope you feel better.

Your welcome. The website has great testimonials on there. Please stay away from caffiene and alchohol and birth control made my endo worse by the way. I have been off the pill for 4 months and i am feeling better.

I stay clear of alcohol as I lost my mum to alcohol induced cancer. (Evil stuff!) But I do love my coffee so I may have to go on a caffeine free coffee hint tomorrow.

Hi Joanna. I know exactly what you are going though. I have suffered with endo for nearly 20 years and had about 6 years relief from the pain and symptoms you are experiencing when I had a full hysterectomy 8 years ago. So I would advice you to push your doctors to refer you gynae for a full hysterectomy if your not planning on having any more children. Unfortunately my endo was so bad and on in the bowel area which is now giving me pain again and I'm having more surgery in two weeks time. Good luck. Julie x

Thankyou so much for all your replies. It feels sooo nice not being alone. I should of joined this group sooner.

I'm going back to gyne & I'll push to have it all taken away. The only thing which worries me is my endo is on my appendix & bowel so it may/may not cute it xxx
