Scan all clear what happens now??

Hello, I had a scan yesterday for cysts etc and that was all clear. I just wondered what happens next and how long roughly it all takes to get a confirmed diagnosis of endo? Xx

Hi, are you scheduled for a diagnostic laparoscopy or do you have to go back to see your consultant to discuss the results of your scans and decide the next step? x

I'm not under a consultant yet so I'm guessing that maybe the next step. My gp referred me for the scan as she thought I had cysts. I had a normal ovulation cyst which will go once I ovulate but that was all. My GP has never mentioned endo to me, I just happened to come across when I was googling my symptoms. So next go back to gp and get referred to a consultant? Xx

Get an appt with a gynae and keep pushing for a lapo it will then determine if you have endo. Its a long process when the docs drag their heel but be on top of it and keep pushing. X
