Hello THere

I have been having zoladex implants for the past 16 months after multiple surgeries for endo adhesions

During this time. On zoladex I moved from oxford to cornwall having had a long pain free time on zoladex I started to experience left sided pain again couple of months a go.

Went for a diagnostic lap last week to be told extensive endo / bowel involvement horrendous amounts of adhesions. This op was done in cornwall my problem is I have for personnel reasons have to move back up country to oxford again.not sure whether or not it's feasible to come back to cornwall for op or ask the consultant in cornwall to refer me to oxford wher I was previously seen prior to coming here .is this something he will do having done my diagnostic lap .....why is life so complicated!!!!!

Hope people are having an ok or good day .

Any thoughts on where to have surgery would be much appriciated.

XXXXX

Hi there, so sorry to hear you are suffering :-( it's your choice where you get treated. Many ladies unfortunately have to travel quite a distance to go to an endometriosis centre. Have you chatted to your GP about this? Worth asking if there would be delays if you transfer to Oxford. Take care and good luck with your surgery.
