I'm exactly the same!! I feel guilty for not being able to do much when I'm there and feel worse for not going in. Doesn't help also when you have fellow work colleagues assuming it's just the general 'time of the month' and because other ladies cope fine us others should too. I had my 1st lap op weds and I'm dying to get back to work just so I feel like they can't moan at me or think I'm just swindling time off! Hehe sorry for the rant :)

Just think of yourself, you're the one suffering and will suffer more if you force yourself to do too much. Sometimes it is good to get up and get on (that's my kind of attitude.. At times lol) but then I majorly suffer a few days after.

Think of number one and hope you're feeling better soon x x x

No one I work with knows anything. They just ask how I am or ignore it. I struggle a lot at work and cry then pretend I'm fine. Sometimes it's too much. I worry one day someone from hr will tell me off! Just hard I have come off prostap injections and back on the pill but really want to start trying for a family very soon x

I've found the best thing to do is be honest with work. I've come up with an agreement to work part time hours at the moment and a few other adaptions have been put in place to support me. If your boss/colleagues know what's going on they will respect you for being there when you can and hopefully be supportive when you can't. You might not feel comfortable telling everyone but even if you just let your boss or a few people know what's going on it might help.

Also, let them know that endometriosis is covered as an impairment under the Equalities Act 2010 which means you are entitled to ask for adaptions to be made to support you, and your employer has to comply unless they can justify why they are unable to. Hope that helps and I hope things improve for you x

I was going to ask if it was covered under an act. I appreciate your support so much xx
